HOW IT WORKS:
1. Pick a card and add your message. Optionally add confetti, photos, and gift certificates. Hit send.
2. A handwriting artist prepares and mails the card for you.
3. You surprise a friend with mail. It will make their day!

In more detail: Your message will be assigned to an artist who will handwrite it on your card, prepare the envelope, add a stamp, and add your extras: photos, confetti, or gift certificates (if you included any). Once done, they will put it in a USPS mailbox for you. You’ll get photos of the artwork so you know exactly what your recipient is getting.
You can choose between note cards for $6, standard greeting cards for $7.75, or premium foiled larger cards for $10.50.

Punkpost Greeting Cards app good for
Punkpost is the best app of its kind. Actually I dont know of any other app or company that proposes such a unique service. Send personalized, letterpress greeting cards (with emojis!) that are handwritten by an artist, and for roughly the same price you would pay in stores. You can even have a photo printed to go with the card. And purple confetti too! After Punkpost has sent your card, you get an alert with photos of the card and envelope. This is my favorite part! The app makes the art of correspondence easy and fun. A must-have!
Punkpost makes up for all the cards Ive missed in the past. The layout is great and easy to use. Type a message and a real card is on its way. Great job!

I got punkpost because I love correspondence. The idea was novel, the artists appealed & the humor was kitsch & blithely tongue in cheek; punkpost oozes diy culture through its App Store glow. What more could you ask for: a mixtape after 15 purchases.
The card selection is diverse.
I got some cards done for Mothers Day, the app was easy to use. Notifications were sent when cards were mailed with photos of finished cards (great touch).
What blew me away was the quality of the finished product. Just absolutely beautiful work. Punkpost will be my new go to for most of my greeting card needs.
Ive ordered 3 cards now, one has been received, the other is on its way and the last one I just ordered today. I had an issue with the one from today where the app double charged me, and I emailed them about it. Not only did they get back to me with about 20 mins but they saw the error and fixed it plus gave me the card for free due to the error. The two cards that have sent came out great and its a fun easy way to send a card to anyone.
I never write reviews, but this is simply fantastic. Just sent my first card to my mom for Mothers Day, and she was so touched (apparently in tears). The little touches like confetti and picture make the card so much more special. The app even showed me a picture of the completed card, and I was able to personally thank the person who wrote it. Will definitely be sending more cards in the future.
The postcard received was even better than I expected, and the included photograph was well-printed.
Ignore the negative reviews—some people think software bugs are a morally acceptable reason to give one star.
Some bad moments
It says on their website you can send internationally but it wont let me enter my friends Canadian postal code to add as a contact.
Finally found a way to enter Canadian postal code but then when I was trying to check out it kept saying enter my return address when I already did. Crap!
I love the idea of this but it has been 16 days since the scheduled delivery date and no sign of it. I double checked the address so that wasnt the problem. I dont see a way to contact customer support. So would definitely not use this service again.
The service and cards they offer are perfect and amazing but the app is glitchy. Now when I open the app it stops the music playing and keeps asking me to enable notifications even though everytime I say no.
I installed this app as the concept is wonderful! I have yet to be able to use it. Every single time I try to open it, it crashes and closes. STINKS!
I thought this was such a good idea until I sent 2 cards. Both of the cards were received a month early than when I set them to be delivered. If you are going to have this feature, make sure it works.
